The College of Education for Pure Sciences Participates in the Celebration of International Women’s Day

Celebration of International Women’s Day

The College of Education for Pure Sciences participated in the celebration of International Women’s Day, which was held under the auspices of the Honorable President of the University of Karbala (Prof. Dr. Bassem Khalil Al-Saeedi), with the support of the College of Engineering and the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, and in the presence of the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences (Prof. Dr. Hamida Idan Salman). The ceremony held under the slogan of Iraqi women as a partner in sustainable development.
The ceremony was attended by the administrative and scientific assistants of the university president and a number of deans of faculties and heads of departments at the university.
Where the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences presented certificates of thanks and appreciation and shields to female teachers who have patents and research published in Scopus within the first and second quarters, and female teachers who have authored books. Distinguished female employees were honored for their devotion to work to perform the best in the educational institution.
Dr. (Ban Taha Muhammad) was also honored by the administrative assistant to the university president for obtaining a patent. Dr. Yasmine Khudair Khalaf gave a speech in which she expressed her thanks to women and their role in society, as they had an active role in women’s activities, being responsible for the women’s empowerment unit in the college. The employee (Nusrat Hashem Marza) also received a certificate of thanks and appreciation in appreciation of her hard work and dedication to work in the College’s Registration Division.
