The lecturer (Lect. Ziyad Tariq Habib) from the Department of Chemistry at the College of Education for Pure Sciences / University of Karbala obtained a Ph.D. for his thesis entitled “Role of activin a, cystatin-c, tissue inhibitor of matrix metaloproteianse- 2 and insulin-like gorwth factor- binding pritein 7 as predictor biochemical markers of renal imperment in patients with multiple myloma” from the College of Medicine/University of Baghdad/Clinical Biochemistry Branch. After extensive discussion by the committee and the student’s defense of his thesis, the committee decided to accept the thesis and grant the student a doctorate degree with distinction.
