A scientific symposium was held in the hall of the Department of Chemistry in the College of Education for Pure Sciences / University of Karbala entitled (Requirements for scientific promotion and developments regarding the instructions in force) held by the College of Engineering and in the presence of the Honorable Assistant to the President for Scientific Affairs (Prof. Najm Abdul-Hussein Najm) and the Dean of the College of Education for Sciences Al-Sarafah (Prof. Hamida Aidan Salman) and the respected Dean of the College of Engineering (Professor Laith Shaker Rashid). The symposium was attended by (Prof. Ali Abdel-Razzaq Abbas), (Prof. Dr. Hamid Rasool Farhan), (Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hussein Ahmed) and (Prof. Dr. Muhammad Wahhab Kazem). Where the lecturers in the symposium discussed the mechanism of submission and the administrative path of scientific promotion, the activities of scientific promotion for scientific disciplines, and community service activities. For his part, the lecturers emphasized the most important instructions and generalizations related to scientific promotions instructions No. 167 of 2017, and the most important websites related to the sobriety of magazines and publishing houses.
