The Minister of Education Officially Received the Project of the British University in Iraq

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, received the British University project and affirmed his support for the establishment of solid foreign universities in Iraq.
This came when he received an official delegation from the Iraqi-British Business Council (IBBC), headed by Baroness Emma Nicholson, and included a number of academics and education experts from British universities and the British Council.

The Minister of Education instructed the formation of a higher ministerial committee to organize the procedures and arrange their file in accordance with the legal and scientific requirements, stressing his support for the establishment of solid foreign universities in Iraq, especially the European ones, pointing out at the same time that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is based on a policy of global openness in the fields of university education in order to achieve the goals And the requirements of sustainable development in Iraq.
In turn, the Iraqi-British Business Council (IBBC) delegation explained its commitment and contribution to developing the educational aspect and achieving qualitative additions appropriate to the educational environment in Iraq, noting at the same time that the British University project includes the adoption of the Bologna track in terms of curricula and the educational system that is commensurate with the Iraqi universities that have taken positive steps. in meeting global requirements.
