Announcing the Results of the Central Admission in Universities


The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the acceptance of two hundred and five thousand four hundred and eighty-six male and female students in Iraqi public universities within the central admission channels for the academic year 2023/2022.
The results published on the official website of the ministry (www.mohesr.gov.iq) and the portal for studies, planning, and follow-up (www.dirasat-gate.org) included acceptance (197724) within the channels of general and direct acceptance, (7616) within the channel of the families of the martyrs and (146) within the elite channel.
The number of students accepted into the central admission channel in the medical group reached (7749) students, while the minimum limits were indicated for the faculties of medicine (99,29), dentistry (98,71), and pharmacy (98,29).
The number of students admitted to the faculties of engineering (23162), science (25,690), law (3571), administration and economics (18041), medical and health technologies (1941), nursing (3176), veterinary medicine (2145), agriculture (3594), arts (7018), languages ​​(2613), and education and basic education (39810), medical institutes (13599), and technological institutes (8468).
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research directed the universities to start the procedures for student registration and to approve the data of the results of the central admission published on the official website of the ministry and the studies, planning, and follow-up portal.
