Head of the Chemistry Department Obtains a Patent within a Research Team from the University of Basra

The Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control of the Ministry of Planning granted a patent to a joint working group from the Universities of Karbala and Basra, No. (7042) on 16/1/2022, and tagged with the title “Production of new IPNs from the waste of PET and Risol water channels to remove heavy ions.” from water”.
Where the research team was able to produce a new polymer interferometer (IPNs) from waste PET water channels. The patent also included the removal of heavy ions from water.
