The Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control of the Ministry of Planning granted a patent to a joint working group between the University of Karbala (College of Education for Pure Sciences/Department of Chemistry) and the University of Kufa (College of Science/Department of Chemistry), No. (6742) on 8/16/2021, marked titled: “Removal of high creatinine in blood plasma using nanoparticles of zinc oxide”. Where the research team at the Universities of Karbala and Kufa was able to remove the high creatinine level in the blood plasma by using nano-zinc oxide.
