Professors from the College of Education for Pure Sciences Publish a Scientific Article on the Treatment of Water Contaminated with Diffusive Blue Dye Using a New Polymeric Nano surface.

A Scientific Article

Professors in the College of Education for Pure Sciences/Department of Chemistry, Prof. Dr. (Mohammed Nazem Bahgat) and Assistant Professor Dr. (Sajid Hassan Kazar) obtained the approval to publish a scientific article titled (Treatment of Contaminated Water with Diffusion Blue Using a New Nanopolymer Surface) by the Articles Committee Scientific Presidency of the University of Karbala after the article fulfills all publication conditions. The Professors mentioned that water is the basic rule of life, and it can pose a danger to human health when exposed to pollution, and in this case it becomes a means of transmitting diseases. Therefore, the control of the health and safety of drinking water is more important than the control of health and food safety, given the widespread and daily consumption of drinking water. Water pollution is one of the first topics that scientists and specialists in the field of pollution were interested in, and it is not surprising, then, that the volume of studies that dealt with this subject is much larger than those that dealt with the rest of the branches of pollution, and water pollution is one of the biggest problems of pollution, and perhaps the secret lies in the role The great importance of water in our daily life, is that water is involved in all biological and industrial processes, and no living creature can live without water, animal and plant organisms need water in order to live, and cell science has proven that water is the important component in the composition of cell matter, which is The unit of construction in every living organism, be it a plant or an animal, and the science of biochemistry has proven that water is necessary for the occurrence of all the reactions and transformations that take place inside the bodies of living things. Physiology is that water is necessary for every organ to perform its functions without which the manifestations and components of life are not available to it. Water is polluted with everything that spoils or changes its natural properties when exposed to chemical, organic or microbial pollutants, which makes it unfit for humans, animals, plants or living organisms. In the seas and oceans, the water is polluted by human, plant, animal and industrial wastes that are dumped in it, and groundwater is polluted as a result of sewage intrusion into it with the pollutants it contains. Among the most important sources of water pollution are the remnants of food factories, chemical factories, metallurgy and industrial fibers, Which lead to water pollution with fats, bacteria, acids, alkalis, dyes, petroleum, petroleum compounds, chemicals and toxic salts such as mercury and arsenic salts, and salts of heavy metals such as lead and cadmium. Water pollution also takes many forms, such as poisoning with detergents or pesticides and other industrial wastes of various kinds. And dyes are among the organic materials polluting water sources, because of their wide use in various industries. They are used in dyeing and in textile industries and as additives in oil industries and in photographic colors as well as in use in Many different broad fields, a number of different compounds are used in their preparation, the environmental behavior of which is largely unknown, and about (10-15%) of these dyes are dissipated as waste in the water that is produced from industrial waste, which is thrown into the soil or water sources and causes problems for lots of people and animals.
