A workshop entitled (Treatment of pesticide and jungle residues) was held in the Department of Chemistry at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, delivered by Prof. Abdul-Bari Mahdi Mahoud, The aim of the workshop was to identify the types of pesticides and their classifications and to shed light on the role of pesticides in combating agricultural pests and methods of disposing of pesticide residues. The workshop was attended by a number of professors and teachers of the department.
