A training course entitled Methods of dose preparation, injection and dosing of laboratory animals
The Department of Life Sciences at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala held a training course entitled (Methods for preparing doses, injecting and draining laboratory animals) on Saturday and Sunday, 7-7-2020 delivered by each d. Caesar Abdul Carpet Mohammed Hussein and d. Batoul Abbas Hussein, and the course was characterized by several axes, including administration of administering medication and preparing doses in proportion to modern methods in calculating doses, how to deal with laboratory animals and not harming them to obtain correct results, and showing methods of dosage and correct injection and blood collection processes from different animals on how to raise Laboratory animals and dealing with them for research purposes and conducting drug experiments. The aim of the course was to understand the basics of dealing with laboratory animals in order to reach the best research results for the target samples and to find the moral responsibility to deal with animals and not to overuse and harm them.
