The Department of Life Sciences at the College of Education for Pure Sciences held a course entitled (Methods of Killing and Anesthesia for Laboratory Animals), delivered by Prof. Dr. Naseer Mirza Hamza and Dr. Heba Elwan, the course was based on several axes, including: methods of killing laboratory animals and methods of anesthesia, and the use of chlorophyll and ketamine ether and the use of the closed and open method in the anesthesia process, and experimentation with animal sacrifice in several ways such as injection of chemical substances (CO2) and injection into the heart in addition to cutting the head The neck was dislocated, and its aim was to teach graduate and teaching students on how to kill and kill animals during the experiment and ways to anesthetize these animals before the experiment was conducted.
