A joint research team from the universities of Karbala and Babil gets a patent

A research team at the universities of Karbala and Babil obtained a patent from the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control to enable it to prepare a new polymer joint and use it as a delivery system for the drug,
The research team consisted of Dr. Muhammad Nazim Bahjat, Dr. Hamida Idan Salman from the College of Education for Pure Sciences at Karbala University, Dr. Muhannad Karim Musa from the College of Science at the University of Babylon and the researcher Mazen Fadel Anad from the holy Karbala Governorate,
The team leader, Dr. Muhammad Nazim Bahgat, said that the patent included the preparation of joint inlaid polymers with nanoparticles and a study of the effect of these nanopolymers on the delivery of the drug to the affected body cells,
Bahgat added that the patent indicated that these nanopolymers are highly sensitive to the acidic function as well as the release of the drug over long periods of time, and this in itself is a qualitative leap in the science of methods of conducting the drug.
