Updating the Surveillance Camera System in the College According to the Latest Advanced Systems

Upgrading the Surveillance Camera System in the College

On Tuesday, May 31, 2022, the respected Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Hamida Idan Salman, inspected the control room of the surveillance cameras in the second phase, which was recently developed and serves more than two thousand students and includes 40 classrooms. The CCTV control room includes many TV screens that display a live broadcast of 128 CCTV cameras distributed throughout the college departments and works on full coverage of the auditoriums and classrooms by recording all events.
The CCTV control room also operates during the power outage, as the room and cameras are supplied with batteries that maintain the regularity of the camera system even during a power outage. The Dean appreciated the efforts made by the Diwan Division and the engineering staff as well as the security supervisors for their efforts in the control room, which is positively reflected on the security system on the college campus.
The camera system is among the measures taken by the college to develop the administrative security system and then use modern camera systems due to the expansion of the academic administrative work space to keep pace with the growing volume and quality of work inside the college, which is doubling day by day.
