The Minister of Higher Education Inaugurates the Projects of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and Emphasizes the Development of the University Environment and its Specialized Programs

The Minister of Education Inaugurated Projects at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, inaugurated the central square for celebrations, the student club, and a number of buildings at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University in Al-Najaf.
During the opening activities and touring the university’s corridors, in the presence of the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Dr. Mudhaffar Al-Zuhairi, and a number of presidents of public and private universities, he stressed the importance of developing the institutional environment and achieving the service level responsible for achieving the goals of the university and its academic programs and developing its human resources in line with the requirements of improving the quality of the educational process.
He urged taking into account the qualitative indicators of educational services in the university environment, which embraces buildings, laboratories, training laboratories, workshops, libraries, green spaces and spaces for student activities, and providing influential elements that interact and respond to renewed requirements and needs and implement them in light of the goals of higher education and scientific research.
The Minister of Education renewed the keenness of the Ministry and its specialized departments to develop specialized technical fields, employ their technologies, and contribute to providing industrial, agricultural and service solutions in an effort to achieve the requirements of sustainable development that are in the interest of community service.
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, concluded the opening and celebration activities by honoring a group of employees of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, who contributed positively to completing projects and achieving the goals of the university institution.
