The Minister of Higher Education follows up the Central and Waste Destruction Department Centers

The Minister of Higher Education Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdel-Saheb, followed up on the website of the Waste Treatment and Destruction Department, and inspected a number of centers and laboratories in the Industrial Research and Development Department.
He urged more attention and functional performance that suits the tasks and work of this department, which acquires the privacy of dealing with waste, pointing out at the same time that integrated science and technology possess human resources worthy of performing its functions and achieving its institutional goals.
He directed the Department of Waste Treatment and Waste Destruction to activate its own technical capabilities and cadres in handling materials and securing the revenue reference in a way that enhances the economic development of the country, and initiating a plan to establish treatment plants for the department in Baghdad and the governorates that guarantee a clean environment free of pollution.
The Minister of Education was briefed on work programs and quality indicators in the centers and laboratories of the Industrial Research and Development Department, including the Electronic Manufacturing Center, the Systems and Automation Center, the Industrial Applications Center, the Aviation Technology Research Center, the robotics laboratory, and the laboratories of supervisory control systems and information acquisition.
The Minister of Education stressed the importance of integrating the Industrial Research and Development Department with ministries, authorities and universities in accordance with the specialization tracks and the requirements of current and future projects.
