Comprehensive Examination for Doctoral Students
The Department of biology conducted the comprehensive examination for doctoral students after they passed the written examination. The oral exam was conducted for the doctoral students, who numbered (11) students in the animal sciences and plant sciences majors. In the presence of an elite group of professors from the University of Karbala, in addition to professors from other universities (University of Babylon, Al-Qadisiyah University, and the University of Kufa), and in the presence of professors with different specializations. This meeting played a major role in the educational process and enriching scientific information. The leadership of the Life Sciences Department and the Comprehensive Examination Committee also focused on ensuring that the plans proposed for doctoral students in the future should be applied research that can be used to solve problems at the present time. Most of the topics focused on studying medicinal plants and their use in treating current problems, especially with the spread of diseases. In addition, the harms associated with the use of medicines were studied, in addition to determining how to treat these harms to their users directly or indirectly. To view the pictures
