Students of the Department of Biology Organize a Voluntary Campaign to Plant the Gardens of the College 


The students of the third stage in the Department of biology launched a voluntary campaign to plant the gardens of the building of the College of Education for Pure Sciences.
The assistant lecturer (Sarmad Mahdi Kazem), assistant lecturer (Sawsan Samir Hadi), and a number of students and service staff participated in the campaign by planting plants in the college gardens. Where this campaign aims to develop the spirit of teamwork and volunteerism in order to establish a culture of interest and spread environmental and health awareness in the community, in addition to the fact that the college strives to provide and increase green spaces to create the appropriate atmosphere for its students during reading and rest times, and that planting the college gardens is an important part From the plan to preserve green spaces because of their role in purifying the environment and softening the atmosphere for college students.
The volunteer work included planting a number of seasonal flowers and perennial shrubs that contribute to making the college appear in a decent appearance. Finally, the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof. Dr. Hamida Idan Salman, extended her thanks and great gratitude to all the participants, calling them to continue success in their scientific and practical lives.
