Karbala University Organizes a Protest Against the Israeli Aggression on Gaza

The University of Karbala organized a protest and denunciation against the Israeli aggression on Gaza in the presence of the University President, Prof. Dr. Bassem Khalil Nayel Al-Saidi, his Assistant for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Akram Mohsen Al-Yasiri, and the deans of the colleges, and the participation of large groups of university teachers, employees, and students.
Prof. Dr. Akram Al-Yasiri said in a statement he delivered during the protest that the university expresses its denunciation and denounces the Israeli aggression against civilians in the Gaza Strip, which left thousands of martyrs and wounded.
The statement called for the need for the international community to stand with the innocent people in Palestine, and to stop the brutal attacks and war crimes against humanity that have nothing to do with humanity. The statement stressed the right of the Palestinian people to live on their land in complete peace, away from the constant threats and repeated attacks carried out by the usurping Zionist entity against defenseless civilians.
