Memorial

The College of Education for Pure Sciences/University of Karbala organized a memorial ceremony for the soul of the late Prof. Dr. Fadel Obaid Hassoun, on Thursday, 11/11/2021, in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Najm Abdul-Hussein Najm, and the assistant president of the university for administrative affairs, Prof. Akram Al-Yasiri, and the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof. Honorable Hamida Idan Salman, respected heads of college departments, professors and Lecturers, in addition to the family of the late.

The ceremony’s curriculum included reciting the Holy Qur’an, followed by the speech of the Dean of the College, Dr. Hamida Aidan, in which she expressed that the late Kaif was a virtuous professor and a great scholar in his field of specialization, and he enjoyed beautiful human values ​​and cooperation with his colleagues and all those working with him in the college. The ceremony also included the speeches of the assistant president of the university, expressing words of sadness and sorrow for the late, and praising his humanity and high morals. Then followed by the speech of the head of the Department of Life Sciences, Prof. Naseer Merza Hamza. The ceremony also dealt with some poetic excerpts that expressed the college’s loss of a distinguished scientific personality. In conclusion, Prof. Akram Al-Yasiri presented some symbolic gifts to the family of the late.
