The Department of Chemistry at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala held a training course entitled (Working in a Safe Laboratory Environment), delivered by Eng. Nada Habib. On its third day, the course dealt with guiding signs, MSDS card details, personal protective equipment and laboratory protection methods. The course aimed to focus on the procedures to be followed in case of accidents such as spillage of a substance, fire or inhalation of a substance to prevent its occurrence and the use of proper methods to avoid such accidents.
