A Lecturer from the Department of Biology publishes a scientific article on lipoproteins

Scientific Article

The educational staff at the College of Education for Pure Sciences/Department of biology (Prof. Dr. Rasha Abdul-Amir Jawad) obtained the acceptance to publish a scientific article tagged with the title (Lipoproteins (L.P)) by the Scientific Articles Committee at the Presidency of Karbala University after the article fulfilled all publication conditions. (Prof. Dr. Rasha Abdel Amir Jawad) mentioned that lipoproteins are defined as particles of fat that are not dissolved in water (surrounded by a layer of proteins to form lipoproteins (which are fat-protein complexes) that are soluble in water, and move easily in the bloodstream and contribute to the transfer of fats to different parts of the body in the watery medium.Lipoproteins are classified based on centrifugal properties and their density into four types:
Chylomicrons – chylomic minutes
Very Low Density Lipoproteins (VLDL)
Low Density Lipoproteins (LDL)
High Density Lipoproteins (HDL)
