Scientific Symposium

Within the series of scientific activities held by the scientific departments in the College of Education for Pure Sciences and under the guidance of the respected Ms. Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences (Prof. Dr. Hamida Aidan Salman). The Department of biology held a scientific symposium entitled (The Damage of the Carpus Tree to Human Health and the Environment), which was delivered by a lecturer from the Department of Biology (Asst. Dr. Qodat Tha’ab Al-Asadi). The seminar aimed to:
1- Identification of the damages of the carpis tree to human health.
2_ Identifying the damage of the carpis tree to the infrastructure, especially the liquefaction water pipes and sewage pipes when planted in residential neighborhoods.
Therefore, specialists in agriculture recommend not planting carpis trees in residential neighborhoods, central islands, or gardens. We wish more creativity and progress in the field of meaningful scientific activities and cooperation between the college and the official authorities in service of our dear college.
