The Department of Biology Holds a Panel Discussion on the Concept of Frozen Food

Within the series of scientific activities conducted by the scientific departments in the College of Education for Pure Sciences… and under the guidance of the respected Ms. Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences (Prof. Dr. Hamida Aidan Salman). The Department of Biology organized a scientific lecture delivered by the Head of the Department of Life Sciences (Prof. Dr. Naseer Mirza Hamzah). The aim was to know the concept of frozen food, as it was explained as whole meals or part of pre-cooked meals packed in a way suitable for presentation. The scientific lecture also showed the harms of eating frozen food, including damage to heart health due to the high sodium element, which leads to an increase in blood pressure, which increases the risk of heart disease, in addition to other harms, including diabetes and the risk of cancer. We wish more creativity and progress in the field of scientific activities aimed at serving our dear college, and from God Almighty, success and payment.
