The Minister of Education Receives a Delegation from the Iraqi Academics Syndicate
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, received a delegation from the Iraqi Academics Syndicate headed by Dr. Muhannad Al-Hilal. During the meeting, the Minister of Education clarified the importance of the role played by educational and academic institutions in formulating and manufacturing scientific solutions and consultations that can support the fields of work and public service in state institutions. The attendees discussed several themes related to the work of the faculty, their duties stipulated in the University Service Law, and their entitlements resulting from supervision, lectures, and scientific publishing. The Minister of Education renewed his continuous support for the teaching staff and their full entitlements to decent living and the provision of decent housing and residential plots that fit the status and identity of this important segment of society. The Minister of Education presented the ministry’s policy, approved plans and government program, stressing the work in the spirit of one team and proceeding with its procedures to enhance the educational environment, its sobriety and the quality of its outputs, and the development of indicators of global competition in international classifications and capacities.
