The Department of Chemistry Holds a Panel Discussion on Synthesis, Characterization and Adsorption Studies of New Polymeric Composites

Panel Discussion

Within the series of scientific activities in the scientific departments and urging students, specifically (graduate students) to scientific interaction and continuous activity, the Department of Chemistry held a discussion entitled (Synthesis, characterization, and adsorption studies of new polymeric composites). The lecturer was a master’s student (Ghassan Abbas). This discussion session aimed to:

1- Preparation of a new Zeolite-Chitosan bound to terphthadehyde
2- Optimizing the installation conditions to obtain polymers with microporous pores with a large surface area
3- Using a new material as an adsorbent to remove toxic dyes from aqueous solutions.

We wish all our students these active scientific initiatives because of their important and effective role for the academic student… and from God Almighty success and payment.
