Events of the Scientific Gathering on the Transformation of Education for Policy Makers
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research participated in the activities of the scientific gathering on the transformation of education for policymakers, which was held by the National Institute of Education in Singapore, in the presence and participation of representatives of nineteen countries from Asia, Europe, South America, and Africa. The sessions reviewed indicators and challenges facing education in the world and the latest technologies in the university and public education, while the events and dialogues included several agreements on the exchange of experiences and cultural exchange between countries of the world to develop the education sector and achieve sustainable development goals. In the context of the Iraqi delegation’s participation in the activities of the scientific gathering, the Director of the Governmental Program Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hazem Abdul Razzaq, delivered the delegation’s speech, which shed light on the educational paths in Iraq and the health, environmental and financial challenges, in addition to the approved plans and programs in the field of developing the Iraqi education sector.
