College of Education for Pure Sciences Holds a Training Course on the Common Elements between Measurement, Evaluation, and Testing

 Department of Physics, College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Karbala held a training course entitled (Common elements between measurement, evaluation, and testing, besides showing the difference between them). The lecture was delivered by Dr. (Hussein Musa Al-Jubouri). The course aimed to identify the common elements of testing, measurement, and evaluation, and the difference between them in terms of concept and application.  The first day dealt with the similarities and differences in concepts and theoretical foundations and the second day between how to build an achievement test and what are the specifications of a good test. On the third day, he discussed the levels according to Bloom’s cognitive, emotional, and psychomotor classification, in addition to clarifying the test map (specification table). The course was attended by professors and teachers of our college and a number of teachers from the College of Education for Human Sciences and the College of Islamic Sciences and from university counseling.
