The Department of Mathematics at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a training course entitled “The Journey of a University Student in Writing a Mathematics Graduation Thesis.”

This course aimed to introduce students to the main steps of writing a graduation thesis, from the title to the sources, and how to type using Microsoft Word.
The lecture covered several topics related to planning and preparing a graduation thesis, choosing a title, formulating objectives, writing the research plan, and how to use Microsoft Word, especially for writing mathematical equations.
The course also included several topics on defining the concept of a graduation thesis and its importance in a student’s academic journey.
The steps for preparing and writing a graduation thesis began with choosing an appropriate title, formulating the research problem, defining scientific objectives, and preparing the research plan and organizing its sections scientifically and systematically.
The researchers recommended paying attention to such topics to ensure the establishment of ongoing training courses to develop students’ skills in writing scientific research papers. They also emphasized the importance of choosing modern research topics that keep pace with scientific advancements, as well as encouraging students to rely on reputable and credible scientific sources.
