Condolonces on the Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Imam Musa ibn Ja’far al-Kadhom

On the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Musa ibn Ja’far al-Kadhim (peace be upon him), the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences extends her deepest condolences to the entire Muslim Ummah and to the Shia of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) on this tragic event, which embodies the highest ideals of patience and steadfastness in the face of injustice and tyranny.

Imam al-Kadhim (peace be upon him), through his life of struggle, particularly the injustice and oppression he endured in the prisons of Harun al-Rashid, stands as an enduring beacon of freedom and resistance to despotism, and a powerful symbol of the triumph of truth, no matter how severe the injustice or how numerous the trials.

As we commemorate this sorrowful anniversary, we recall profound lessons in sacrifice, steadfastness, and reform, and we renew our commitment to adhering to the path of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) and following in their footsteps in building a conscious individual and a society founded on authentic values.

We ask God Almighty to inspire us to emulate his noble example, and to make this commemoration a catalyst for strengthening the values of truth and justice and rejecting oppression in our societies. May He shower Imam al-Kadhim (peace be upon him) with His boundless mercy and gather us with Muhammad and his pure family.
