The College of Education for Pure Sciences Organizes a Scientific Seminar on the Right to Political Participation and Freedom of Expression.

The Physics Department at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a scientific seminar entitled “The Right to Political Participation and Freedom of Expression.”

The seminar was presented by Dr. Jihan Haider Khalil.

This seminar aimed to enhance legal and cultural awareness among students, highlight the importance of active political participation, and emphasize the role of freedom of opinion and expression in building an informed society that contributes to supporting political and social stability.

The seminar covered several topics, including the concept of the right to political participation and freedom of expression, the constitutional and legal foundations of freedom of opinion and expression, the role of political participation in consolidating democracy and the rule of law, and the responsibility of the individual and society in exercising political rights consciously.

The presenter recommended focusing on such topics to promote a culture of informed political participation among students, encouraging students to exercise their right to freedom of expression within legal and constitutional frameworks, and continuing to hold seminars and educational events of a legal and national nature.
