The College of Education for Pure Sciences Concludes its Five-a-Side Football Tournament with a Victory for the Department of Biology

The final match of the five-a-side football tournament, held at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, concluded today. The match pitted the Department of Life Sciences (third year) against the Department of Mathematics (fourth year) in a competitive and enthusiastic atmosphere that reflected the high level of sportsmanship among the students.

The match was attended by the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Professor Dr. Hamida Aidan Salman, and the Assistant to the President of the University of Karbala for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Mohammed Imran, both of whom praised the tournament’s technical and organizational level and its importance in promoting sports activities and fostering a spirit of cooperation among the college’s students.

The Department of Biology team emerged victorious, defeating the Department of Mathematics team 2-1, thus winning the championship. At the conclusion of the event, the winning team was awarded the championship trophy and medals in recognition of their efforts and outstanding performance.

This tournament is part of a series of student activities that the college is keen to organize in support of extracurricular activities and to promote physical health and social ties among students.
