The Head of Women’s Affairs Division Held an Awareness Campaign about Violence Against Women
The Head of the Women’s Affairs Division at the University of Karbala and faculty member in the Department of Biology, Asst. Prof. Dr. Yasmin Khudair Khalaf, along with faculty member Prof. Dr. Ashwaq Kadhim Ubaid, organized an awareness campaign about violence against women. The campaign, which included presentations by female students from the Department of Life Sciences, aimed to promote community awareness of women’s rights and disseminate a culture of non-violence.
The event featured student-led activities that reflected the students’ understanding of the importance of combating violence against women. It also included educational sessions addressing the various forms of violence and their psychological and social effects, while emphasizing the university’s role in supporting and empowering women and creating a safe university environment based on respect and equality.
