Ministerial Delegation Visits Photo Exhibition for Iraqi Anti-Drug Cultural Week
As part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s commitment to strengthening the role of universities in raising community awareness and addressing behavioral challenges, a ministerial delegation visited the College of Education for Pure Sciences to learn about the activities of the Iraqi Anti-Drug Cultural Week festival organized by the college.
The delegation began its tour at the awareness photo exhibition, which featured a collection of paintings and models depicting the dangers of drug use and its health, psychological, and social effects, in addition to highlighting the role of governmental and academic institutions in combating it.
The delegation commended the work presented by the students and staff, which clearly conveyed purposeful humanitarian and educational messages. They emphasized the importance of such awareness initiatives in promoting community awareness and reducing drug use among youth, and the pivotal role of universities in supporting preventative and educational programs.
