Part of the Practical Lectures for Students in the Biology Department at the College of Education for Pure Sciences…
Practical lectures for students in the Biology Department began in a lively and interactive scientific atmosphere. One of the field lectures was held in nature as part of the application of the scientific material, under the direct supervision of instructor Dr. Israa Nasser Ghulam.
The field activity included an experiment in capturing invertebrates. The aim was to introduce students to the natural environments in which these organisms live, and to learn about their characteristics, classification, and methods of dealing with them in the field. The activity also aims to enhance practical understanding of the theoretical concepts studied in the classroom and to link scientific knowledge to practical reality. This activity is part of a series of scientific activities that the department is keen to implement annually. It is keen to develop students’ field and research skills and encourage them to engage in scientific exploration and teamwork, contributing to the preparation of distinguished scientific cadres capable of working in environmental, educational, and research fields
