The lecturer in the College of Education for Pure Sciences / Department of Biology Sciences, the teacher (Yarub Mudhar al-Qazwini), received the acceptance of publishing a scientific article tagged (Scabies Disease and its Medical Importance) by the Committee of Scientific Articles at the Presidency of the University of Karbala after the article fulfilled all the publishing conditions. (Dr. Yaroub Mudar Al-Qazwini) mentioned that scabies is one of the important and widespread diseases worldwide, and it is a contagious skin disease, and its importance lies in the fact that it is one of the diseases common between humans and animals, zoonotic disease. Scabies dream infects more than 40 different types of milk, as it affects dogs, cats, pigs, camels, sheep and others. The injuries suffered by animals with this parasite are a major obstacle or obstacle to the economic return of livestock. The parasite causes severe itching, hair and feather loss, in addition to general weakness and the most important areas it invades. The parasite infects the areas of the face, ears, and toes, in addition to the rest of the body. Skin diseases are of great importance, especially if this disease is of an epidemic nature, and statistics revealed that there are very high infections with this disease in the world, whether in developed countries or in non-developed countries. It was found that scabies was more common in children and adults than the elderly. Clinical reports indicated that the initial infection with scabies occurs 4-6 weeks after infection.
