The Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences Participated in an Introductory Seminar on How to Calculate the H-index, a Measure of Researcher Productivity within the Global Scopus Database
As part of a series of scientific meetings held by the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Prof. Hamida Eidan Salman, the Dean met with the teaching staff of all academic departments, in the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Ayser Ashour Khalaf, Head of the Scientific Affairs Unit. The seminar focused on how to calculate the H-index, a measure of researcher productivity within the global Scopus database. The seminar addressed the mechanism for identifying research that requires citations for each researcher in order to increase the H-index value through the researcher’s Scopus page. The Dean also directed the college’s committees to follow a specific mechanism to complete the work.
