The Department of Chemistry at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a training course on (training on chemical risk management in the physical chemistry laboratory)

This course aimed to train participants on the importance of safety in chemistry laboratories and its application, how to deal with hazardous and toxic chemical equipment and materials, and how to store and handle them.
The seminar included several axes on the necessity of providing all laboratory safety and security equipment, including first aid, the presence of water sources and fire extinguishers, and training laboratory workers on laboratory safety and security equipment, and not using unclassified chemicals. And not tasting, smelling or touching chemicals.
The researchers recommended the necessity of paying attention to such topics, focusing on chemical safety and hygiene at all times. And the necessity of providing containers for chemicals, glass materials, papers and plastic materials. In addition, chemical containers should not be left open and all containers should have appropriate labels.
