The Department of Physics Organizes a Scientific Trip to the General Company for the Production of Electrical Energy in the Middle Euphrates in Babil Governorate

Scientific Trip

As part of the series of scientific activities organized by the scientific departments, the Department of Physics organized a scientific trip to the General Company for the Production of Electrical Energy in the Middle Euphrates in Babil Governorate, under the supervision of each of the lecturers:

Asst. Lect. Dhafar Hadi Jiyad
Asst. Lect. Abrar Abbas Ibrahim
The visit included an explanation of how solar energy systems work by Engineer Nashat Qasim Naji and Engineer Ghufran Nabil Khadir. The students were taken to the solar system panels to explain the main components of them. The mechanism of operation of these systems was explained because they are of general benefit to the students, as well as an opportunity to spread this culture and develop the use of systems during our daily lives due to their importance in providing the electrical energy system with megawatts and preserving the environment by reducing pollutants.
