The Mathematics Department at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a scientific workshop on drugs and their impact on society. Presented by (Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yahya Abdul). The workshop aimed to explain the impact of drugs on society, especially on young people, and to familiarize them with their types and harms. This workshop targeted a group of students from the Mathematics Department. The course also included several axes on drugs, their types, and the reasons for their spread, and explaining the role of the family and society alike. The researcher recommended that it is necessary for every individual in society to play their role in reducing drugs and that the media should play a greater role in providing advice to stay away from drugs.
