A lecturer from the Department of Chemistry Publishes a Scientific Research on Studying the Relationship between Pathogenic Parasitic Infections and Infertility among Women in the holy Kerbala Province

Publishing a Scientific Research

The lecturer, Dr. (Enaam Joda Radhi) from the Department of Chemistry at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, published a research entitled Study the Correlation between Pathogenic Parasitic Infections and Infertility among Women in Kerbala province, Iraq. (Study the Relationship between Parasitic Infections Causing Disease and Infertility among Women in the Holy Kerbala Province, Iraq). In the journal (International Journal of Drug Delivery Technology). Within the impact factor (Q3).
The research aimed to study infections with parasitic pathogens in healthy people who do not suffer from infertility will be higher than those in infertile women. In contrast, parasitic infections in (parasites) were widespread in many parts of the world. Developed countries and infertile women were the greatest burden and infections, for example, the female reproductive system through the damage to infertile women. There were almost parasitic infections such as Trichomonas vaginalis.
The research also included that the study of cervical tumors and atypical pelvic inflammatory disease in women and malformations of the tubes and reproductive system. Toxoplasma gondii causes dysplasia of the reproductive system, artificial disorders and endometriosis for example, intrauterine adhesions.
The study reached suggestions for education to better understand the combination of this infertility and infection and to examine both spouses (females and males) once infertility treatment such as these and parasites were sexually transmitted diseases and also that infection with protozoa is an important cause of infertility in women, which makes them a wide range of parasites.
