The Department of biology at the Faculty of education for pure sciences organized a scientific workshop on intellectual extremism. Her teaching Present is Professor Dr. Raed Baish Katran.
This workshop aimed to know the concept of intellectual extremism as a deep and destructive problem for national, intellectual and political security, where intellectual extremism sometimes reaches the denial of others and the exclusion of their blood and the transformation of extremist thought into violent extremism through belonging to terrorist groups.
The workshop also included several topics about the intellectual or cultural rules that society accepts for any position of life, apparent extremism.
The researcher recommended the need to pay attention to the topic of intellectual extremism because it is one of the factors affecting all societies as it has a ideological character, often supported by a religious orientation.
