Publishing a Scientific Research

The lecturer, Dr. (Ziad Tariq Habib), the rapporteur of the Department of Chemistry at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, published a scientific research entitled (Monitoring Study on the Incidence of 25-OH Vitamin D Deficiency in Population of Kerbala Province), in an international journal (Egyptian Journal of Chemistry) in the quarter (Q3) in Scopus containers.
The research aimed to identify vitamin D, known as calciferol, which is one of the four fat-soluble vitamins (A, E, K, D).
The research also included a study of two hundred and fifty patients to diagnose vitamin D deficiency 25-OH in the laboratory of Al-Husseini Teaching Hospital in Karbala Governorate from March to July 2021. 250 patients were studied according to gender, age, exposure to sunlight, medication intake, and diseases. The study concluded with an evaluation of vitamin D in various pathological cases in Kerbala Governorate.
