Department of Biology Organizes a Scientific Forum on the Risks of Kidney Failure

Organizing a Scientific Forum

The Department of Biology at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a scientific forum on the symptoms and risks of kidney failure. It was delivered by the lecturer Dr. (Ali Hussein Kadhom).
The forum aimed to know this disease and how it is formed, as the kidneys work to filter the blood and secrete waste and excess fluids into the urine, and a disturbance in kidney functions leads to the accumulation of waste and excess fluids in the body, which causes serious complications.
The forum also included several axes on the symptoms of kidney failure through decreased urine output. Nausea and vomiting. Loss of appetite. Fatigue and weakness. Difficulty sleeping. It is important to know that these symptoms are not limited to kidney failure, as they may also appear when suffering from other diseases.
The researcher recommended the necessity of maintaining the body’s physical fitness because this reduces blood pressure and maintains kidney performance. And maintaining blood sugar levels: by doing periodic tests for blood sugar levels. In addition to maintaining blood pressure levels: This is done by measuring blood pressure readings periodically, and treating it if it is high.
