Signing a Scientific Cooperation Agreement with Military Industrialization Authority

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Military Industrialization Authority signed a scientific agreement to enhance cooperation in the fields of scientific research, technological development and support for innovation.
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, confirmed during a joint press conference with the Chairman of the Military Industrialization Authority, Engineer Mustafa Ati Hassan, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research that the agreement stipulates the development of educational and training programs to build capacities in areas of common interest, exchange expertise, information and resources, provide academic and research support for projects, and approve graduate student projects in specializations that serve the applied and field research required by the Authority’s work, especially in specializations related to the development of defense industries.
He added that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its universities are keen to integrate with state institutions and meet their needs in accordance with the vision and strategy of the Iraqi government and its ministerial program and curriculum for specialized research, technical and technological support, and providing training opportunities. The Chairman of the Military Industrialization Authority expressed his appreciation for the great interest shown by higher education and scientific research institutions in strengthening the joint work space and providing qualitative expertise in the fields that serve the work of the Authority at the scientific and advisory level.
