The Department of Biology discusses a master’s thesis on the study of the effect of the hormone Parasterone on atherosclerosis induced in adult female rabbits

Discussion of the Master’s Thesis

The Department of Biology at the Faculty of education of pure sciences at Karbala University discussed a master’s thesis titled ( Study of the effect of the hormone Parasterone on atherosclerosis atherosclerosis in adult female rabbits). For the student (Ghufran Adnan Abdul Amir), under the supervision of assistant professor Dr. Batool Abbas Hussein al-Jabri.
The aim of the message was to identify the complete fat images and their effect on the concentration rate of malondihyde, namely, the concentration of clotathione on the concentration of an enzyme and on the concentration of estrogen and progesterone levels and its effect on the estrogen receptor in cardiac muscle cells, and to know its effect on heart tissue, blood vessels and liver.
The study recommended conducting experimental studies on the effect of the DHEA hormone on other organs in the body, such as the skin, and also recommends giving the DHEA hormone as a dietary supplement to women over the age of (45) years in regular doses and specific periods. As well as conducting a study to find out the effect of cholesterol on some organs such as the pancreas and small intestine. The student was awarded a distinction.
