The Council of the University of Kerbala, headed by the President of the University, the respected Prof. Dr. (Basem Khalil Nayel), the respected Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, the respected Prof. Dr. Hamida Idan Salman, and the rest of the deans of the colleges, visited to extend congratulations to the President and members of the Holy Karbala Governorate Council on the occasion of assuming their duties. Dr. Bassem Al-Saeedi said during the visit that the university was and continues to be supportive of the governorate’s projects, and will be supportive of the Council’s actions aimed at serving Karbala. The Chairman of the Council, Dr. Qasim Al-Yasari, stated that the Council needs the support of the University of Karbala because of its scientific capabilities and professional personnel that contribute to changing the reality of the city, especially since it is the first advisory body that contributes to planning projects. The President of the Council and its members praised the efforts of the University President to improve the university environment by providing green spaces and infrastructure, in addition to paying attention to the scientific aspects, stressing at the same time the Council’s support for everything that develops the academic aspect.
