The lecturer in the College of Education for Pure Sciences / Department of Physics, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Hameed Al-Baghdadi, obtained acceptance of publishing a scientific article tagged (LCD displays) by the Committee of Scientific Articles of the University of Karbala. after the article fulfilled all publishing conditions. Assistant Professor Dr. (Muhammad Al-Baghdadi) stated that technological progress is still in continuous progress and continues to provide us with new means and devices that lead to more enjoyment and comfort in life. Display screens are one of the means by which a person can watch news, movies and what is shown to the viewer through the media, and display screens are found in many electronic devices such as clock screens, CDs, cell phones, laptops or television screens of various sizes. There are many types of display screens, some of which depend on the release of an electronic beam, plasma or liquid crystals, and each type works according to a different physical method of work. In this article, we will focus on liquid crystal displays, which are abbreviations for Liquid Crystal Display. Liquid crystal screens are characterized by their small thickness, giving them a clean and clear picture, their low energy consumption and the small size of the screen itself in relation to old screens, which effectively contributed to its spread and helped in its contribution to many modern technological applications.
