Discussion of a Master’s Thesis

The Chemistry Department at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala discussed a master’s thesis entitled (Evaluation of Some Inflammatory Factors in Patients with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome with Insulin Resistance) by the student (Zahraa Emad Hussein), and under the supervision of (Asst. Prof. Rehab Jassim Muhammad) as first supervisor, and (Prof. Hamida Hadi Abdel Wahed) as second supervisor.
The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the level of inflammatory factors (HS-CRP, IL-6) in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome and insulin resistance and compare it with a healthy group. The message also included: showing the lipid levels in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome and insulin resistance and comparing them with a healthy group. And examining the relationship between vital indicators. And to identify the seriousness of this syndrome by evaluating some vital indicators.
The letter recommended that women with polycystic ovary syndrome and insulin resistance perform lipid level measurements from time to time. Continuous examinations for inflammatory factors are also conducted, especially in patients over the age of 30. He also advises following healthy eating habits and exercising regularly to lose weight and reduce the risks of diseases resulting from obesity and its consequences. The student received an excellent grade.
