Honoring the University of Karbala for Achieving Competitive Results in the Times World Classification

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research honored the University of Karbala for achieving a competitive rank (+1501) in the Times World Classification, in the presence of the Minister of Higher Education, presidents of Iraqi universities, and academics from inside and outside Iraq.
This came during the ceremony held by the Ministry of Higher Education at the College of Information at the University of Baghdad to celebrate (13) Iraqi universities, including #Karbala_University, which achieved competitive results in the Times classification in the 2024 edition, in which Iraq achieved rank (37) in the world for the first time in his academic history.
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, expressed his appreciation for this achievement and its indicators achieved in the fields of teaching, research environment, international outlook, and industry income. He congratulated the University of Karbala, its teaching staff, researchers, students, and employees for obtaining this scientific achievement.
For his part, the President of the University of Karbala, Prof. Dr. Basem Khalil Al-Saeedi, stressed, “The fruits of this achievement came from the distinguished efforts of the university team, and that the university is continuing to develop its scientific capabilities in order to achieve its goals along the lines of advanced international experiences.”
