A lecturer from the Department of Biology at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala (Asst. lect. Alia Muhammad Ali Haddad) published research in an international journal (International Conference on Agricultural Sciences) entitled (Analysis of a biologically active plant chemical compound using gas chromatography and mass spectrometry).
Where the research aimed to analyze the biologically active plant chemical compound using gas chromatography and mass spectrometry using the leaves of the Cyperus aucheri Jaub plant, and 21 biologically active chemical compounds were isolated.
